About the role

Our client, a recognized leader in its field, is looking to strengthen its alignment with the Universal Design for Resilience (UDR) concept. To support this initiative, they are expanding their team with a motivated and curious Business Analyst.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of operations, collaborating with Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales teams to understand their daily needs and challenges. Acting as a bridge between business and technology, you’ll work closely with the IT team to translate business requirements into effective solutions within SAP.

This mission is initially planned for 3 months, but if you prove your value, there may be an opportunity to extend your collaboration.

Work tasks

  • Gather and document the specific requirements of the Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales departments.
  • Understand the daily operational challenges faced by end users.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes for improved resilience and sustainability.
  • Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional specifications.
  • Work closely with developers and technical consultants to design SAP-based solutions.
  • Validate proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives and UDR principles.
  • Establish effective communication channels between business and technical teams for regular updates.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, requirements, and implemented solutions.
  • Provide regular progress reports to project managers and relevant stakeholders.

We are looking for

  • University degree in Business Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Some experience or an internship in a Business Analyst role or a similar position.
  • Understanding of business processes related to purchasing, logistics, and sales.
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken, for clear communication with stakeholders ; French is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies
  • Awareness of sustainability, resilience, and Universal Design for Resilience (UDR) principles.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally SAP, without requiring advanced technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a critical thinking approach to identify creative and fitting solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented.
