About the role

Our client, a global leader in medical devices, is looking for a Software Engineer SCADA to strengthen their automation systems team. Based at their Swiss Manufacturing Operations (SMO) site, you will join a dynamic and innovative team under the direct supervision of the Software Engineering Manager.

You will play a key role in the installation and implementation of the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system, ensuring seamless interconnection and supervision of all production machines and processes.

Work tasks

  • Develop and implement the SCADA application layer to ensure communication between control equipment across the production line
  • Test, analyze, and optimize migration scripts within the SCADA environment, ensuring integration with existing systems
  • Monitor machine and process performance through the SCADA system and ensure operational efficiency

We are looking for

  • Experience in SCADA environment ideally in automation or production environments
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience in SCADA software (Ignition, SIMATIC WinCC, GENESIS64, or similar)
  • A team player with autonomy, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to ask questions to overcome challenges.
